JEFF & KAREN - ACOUSTIC DUO
New Jersey residents, singer/songwriter Jeff Penque and songstress, Karen Fairweather have joined forces to create a fresh and unique acoustic duo that have been taking NJ coffee houses, wineries, and restaurants by storm. They blend classic folk/rock from the 60s through today - with original tunes - to create a truly memorable musical performance. Jeff & Karen are happy to announce the availability of their debut CD - Jersey Fresh.
In the past year, Jeff & Karen have traveled from the Jersey Shore to Provincetown, MA and back. They have given performances and interviews on WFDU & WOMR - and have had profiles in several newspapers including the Provincetown Banner and The Bergen Record.
Recent gigs have included - Farm2bistro in Rockaway, The Hilton Hotel in Hasbrouck Heights, First Saturday Festival in Asbury Park, Rainbow Mountain Resort in the Poconos, The Garden Cafe in New Milford, The Starving Artist Cafe on City Island in The Bronx, Sertino's Cafe in Emerson.... and more. In June, 2010 they performed for an audience of over 2,000 people at NJ Pride in Asbury Park!
