SALON OF REFUSE
Salon of Refuse is an American alternative rock group, formed in Cranford, New Jersey in 2009. Composed of Matthew Lahm (singer/songwriter/guitar/producer), Simona Martore (singer/songwriter/guitar), Chris Pastena (bass), Mark Pena (guitar/keyboard), and Jon Rosenbaum (drums). Their sound is full and songs are original compositions that tend to be epic. They allude to the arena rock of the 70’s and grunge bands of the 90’s. Our most pronounced influences are The Doors, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Who, David Bowie, The Cure, Jane’s Addiction, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains. Of these examples, a common element is visual art and aspects of theater that influence the music. |
