UNCLE SHOEHORN
Uncle Shoehorn is an electric band performing favorites from across a wide selection of popular musical genres. Deeply rooted in the music of Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead, they bring the improvisational energy to every show and every song. Setlists include songs from Bob Dylan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Neil Young, The Band, The Meters, LIttle Feat, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Cliff, Bob Marley, Ray Charles, Elvis, and of course plenty of Good 'ol Grateful Dead and Jerry songs. Since the band’s formation in 2005, their diverse musical tastes have been reflected in eclectic and always crowd pleasing repertoire.
Found locally in Northern NJ and Hudson Valley NY bars and festivals.
Uncle Shoehorn is also experienced in playing parties and corporate / fund raising functions.
