"Clever Hans make a refreshing change from the onslaught of hand-wringing emo bands currently flooding the Jersey punk scene, delivering their catchy melodies and big rock licks with an unapologetic cockiness that borders on arrogance. But hey, there's nothing wrong with a little rock star attitude when it's in the service of tight, brightly arranged harmony vocals and big hooky choruses. Girls swoon, boys throw their fists in the air, and I wouldn't be surprised if a small army of A&R men don't start waving their checkbooks at this band in the near future."
