Bleak Prospects is a band from Northern NJ, from Teaneck, to Englewood, to the mean streets of Upper Saddle River. Marino and Levinson formed a band with the addition of the Hebrew Hammer a.k.a Schlog. The name reflects the band's belief that the chances of success are slim due to all the corruption in the music industry, and the death of quality and taste in popular music. It also reflects the band's utter lack of faith in the young generation to create a functional and successful society. Bleak Prospects is an indie rock band that draws heavily from classic bands like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd among others.
