BEDLIGHT FOR BLUEEYES
In a time when all radio music sounds the same, BEDLIGHT for BlueEYES, a 5-piece band from Berkeley Heights, NJ strive for something more... much more. Formed in January 2004 out of previous projects such as A Hero for Nothing, Avery, Red with her Name, and Sever the Stars, each member of this high octane group of artists bring their own flavor and adrenaline to their raw, explosive sound. Their live show ignites the stage and beats with a furious heart. BEDLIGHT for BlueEYES combine intense soulful vocals, scathingly honest lyrics, technical musicianship, catchy melodic choruses, and passion enough to bring it all together in a way that grabs a hold of you and never lets you go. John Naclerio of Nada studios (Producer and Recording Engineer for such notable bands as Senses Fail, My Chemical Romance, Brand New, The Ataris, etc.) says that "Christian (Bedlight's Frontman) has the most amazing voice I've ever heard." Dan Arnold of A Static Lullaby proclaims that "BLFBE is the next big thing".
They feel truly alive when they play out, reaching out to people, affecting them. "Playing out is why we write music, it pumps the blood through our veins, brings color to our cheeks. We rock and we want everyone to rock out with us. It's what we live for."
Christian (Vocals), Derek (Guitar), Itchy (Drums), James (Bass), and Justin (Guitar) come from very different musical backgrounds. "Our music will never stop growing and changing. We continue to make music because it is the only form of expression that makes sense to us; we'll never stop" BEDLIGHT for BlueEYES hopes to schedule dates for a late summer tour to reach a broader fanbase. "Our fans are our blood. Without them we wither. We do this because we must,for us, for them, because there is nothing in the world that tops the feeling of knowing you played a part in someone's life."
